In response to its continuous growth, IÉSEG School of Management is looking for a full-time professor in Strategic Management at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level (Lille or Paris Campus, starting September 2025). The selected candidate will be a part of the Management & Society Department.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of "Management & Society" consists of over 30 full-time academic staff in the areas of Strategic Management, Organization Studies, Corporate Sustainability and Business & Society. The Department explicitly welcomes cross-disciplinary research efforts needed to address the challenges currently faced by both for-profit and non-profit organizations, their stakeholders and the communities in which they operate.
The Management & Society Department operates in line with the vision of the school to be "a unique interna tional hub empowering changemakers for a better society" . The Department aims to be a source of inspiration in the development of sound and responsible business practices, and a source of diffusion of creative knowledge and solutions. Current faculty members from the Management & Society Department have been successful in publishing articles in top-tier refereed journals including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Discoveries, Academy of Management Annals, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Science, and Organization Studies.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Research will be a strong focus of the selected candidate, who is expected to contribute to the department's research themes and to the vibrant research community at IESEG through a commitment to research excellence . Applicants for the position of Assistant Professor should hold a PhD (or be close to obtaining it) and are expected to have the potential to secure publications in top-tier refereed journals in the near future. For an appointment at the Associate level, applicants are required to (a) hold a PhD and have a strong publication record in top-tier refereed journals and evidence of research impact; (b) good networks in academia; and (c) grant application ability.
In terms of teaching, the selected candidate will teach courses in strategic management/strategy at the undergraduate, graduate and/or postgraduate level. In addition, the selected candidate will contribute to the development of the Department's programs. As such, we are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills , and who are fluent in English , as most courses are taught in this language. For an appointment at the Associate level, applicants are required to have extensive higher education teaching experience. Teaching activities might be partly split between the two campuses.
Although not required, active working knowledge of French is considered an asset . For this position, the ability and willingness to interact with managers and the local (and international) ecosystems are indeed valued.
