An independent board of experts that assesses all applications and decides who will move on to the next stage. All members of this board are from outside UIC Barcelona.A public oral defence by finalist applicants: a presentation about their career (both academic and teaching) and their research projects. Following the presentation, the examination panel will ask a series of questions to conclude the defence. Excellent track record of publications.Participation in funded research projects.Research experience:Materials science: biomaterial formulation and material characterisation.Engineering: 3D printing technology.SolidWorks like software for designing.Biological sciences: cell seeding onto biomaterials, cell-material interaction characterization.AQU or ANECA (or similar) accreditation, or be able to apply for it and obtain it in a short period of time.Proven record of effective teaching.Oral and written proficiency in English.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Ability to get involved in one of the Faculty's lines of research.Ability to supervise and guide both undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects.
