This role involves handling day-to-day tasks such as material testing, order tracking, and managing quality control reports.

Research & Development SupportAssist in researching new leathers, finishes, and processing technologies as directed by the coordinator.Collaborate with design and production teams to develop prototypes for new materials.Maintain an updated library of leather swatches and supplier catalogues for internal reference.2.
Procurement AssistanceProcess purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage stock levels for raw materials.Prepare and maintain records in PLM systems related to leather purchases and quality reception reports.Communicate daily with suppliers to follow up on orders and resolve minor issues.3.
Quality Assurance ExecutionConduct preliminary inspections of leather deliveries to ensure compliance with quality standards with the coordinator.Send samples for quality testing, follow up on results, and report findings to the coordinator.Document and update quality reports and feedback from tanneries.4.
Operational SupportOrganize and update material briefs and other documentation.Assist with organizing and preparing materials for reviews and meetings with internal teams.Support the senior coordinator in tracking budgets and timelines for ongoing projects.
SkillsSelf-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.Highly responsive, dynamic, and practical in approach.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop effective action plans.Adaptability to changing circumstances and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, and PLM software.1 year in development.Interested in raw materials.Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English, basic Italian is required.
