Leasing Procurement ManagerCountry: SpainWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Procurement Manager and reporting to the Global Head of Leasing, you will be responsible for setting the business sourcing and supply chain strategies related to new vehicle and aftersales services, looking for excellence in product and service quality, cost efficiency, and a long-term relation with reliable partners that support Santander Consumer Renting growth in all the scoped 15 geographies.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts, in cooperation with the markets in the scope:In coordination with the different countries and HQ stakeholders, define the Target Operational Models, policies, and procedures applicable for all activities related to the procurement of new vehicle, products, and service suppliers to what Operational Leasing business should converge in all targeted geographies.Drive accountability for the successful implementation of Orders Procurement TOM and recommendations, supporting and encouraging the local country procurement community to identify and eliminate threats.Define the policies for the creation, animation follow-up of the dealer and garage networks of preferred suppliers.Launch tenders and pilot international framework agreements with OEMs and other suppliers.Define the Key indicators to monitor the supplier's performance during the life of the contract, motivating them to perform as committed, benchmarking, and acting as a catalyst for sharing and implementing best practices resulting from specific procurement initiatives within the international community.Help define the business requirements for the development of our own in-house IT solutions, or contract with one of the existing third-party tools in the market for the management of contracts and follow-up of supplier activity.Collaborate with all business areas and key persons to ensure clarity on the specifications and match of the products and services purchased to the business needs.EXPERIENCEAt least 8 years of proven experience in managing supply chain/sourcing operations for automotive or operational lease businesses, building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.Good connections in OEMs and aftersales providers for this business.EDUCATIONMedium/High degree in Economics/Business or Engineering.SKILLS KNOWLEDGENegotiation and communication skills, strong target orientation, strategic mindset, innovative propositions, technology-oriented.High level of SWR English and other languages valuable.Leasing market and product processes and opportunities to disrupt.Knowledge of the European automotive market, type of suppliers, and contractual relations needed in the operational lease business.
Capacity for networking.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Management and leadership skills and capacity to manage transversal dependencies.Resilient, capable of working in a collaborative, changing, and not perfectly defined environments, switching from project mode to business management mode in a few months.Committed to delivering excellent customer experience and acknowledged on the levers to deliver it in this business.OTHER INFORMATIONBased in Madrid, available to travel punctually to European countries.
