The Manager of Learning and Development supports the strategy and development of learning offerings that ensure constant growth in our team's capabilities, skills and potential to meet and exceed business objectives and results targets. Working with the Learning and Development team and global talent colleagues, the Manager of Learning and Development builds exceptional curriculum & content, scalable training processes and ensures outstanding facilitation of onboarding and instruction for employees resulting in increased retention and employee engagement. This position will support the development for either retail, corporate and distribution center teams.
Essential Job Results Develops a wide array of professional learning programs and curriculum that align talent development with business strategy.Serves as a strategic thought partner to our HR business partners and leaders across the region.Works collaboratively to identify evolving needs and leverage subject matter experts for curriculum and program development.Facilitates learning experiences that motivate, engage, and empower learners with the tools needed to do their best work.Analyzes learner feedback and other data to ensure continuous improvement of learning and development programs.Develops an organization-wide focus on learning to sustain culture and catalyze positive change.Coordinates with key partners to operationalize & scale learning programs.Makes complex ideas simple and learning concepts stick.Job Requirements Resourceful, strategic and adaptable with outstanding execution and follow-through.Builds exceptional relationships with the ability to influence, collaborate and build consensus.Strong sense of support & partnership.Skilled in professional training, talent development and adult learning.Engaging teacher, trainer, counselor and coach.Outstanding problem-solver and change agent.Experience and interest in growing and developing teams globally.Education, Experience and Languages Bachelors Degree preferred.7+ years of experience and focus on employee training, learning and development in multiple European Countries.Previous experience developing and managing learning strategies and programs.Ideally English, German & either Spanish/French/Italian.About Skechers Skechers (NYSE: SKX), a global, Fortune 500 brand develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.
