Your enthusiasm and drive are what we value the most.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Learning & Development Manager you will provide support to hotel management and colleagues to achieve hotel and strategic business objectives and maintain Hotel and Company L&D policies and procedures.The main focus of your job will be:To identify and monitor operational, supervisory, and managerial Learning and Development needs and requirements, and provide regular feedback to Director of People & CultureTo support the activities of departmental managers and to ensure that all Learning & Development activities are geared towards the achievement of the hotel strategic objectivesTo deliver Hotel Orientation Program for all new starters in accordance with hotel and company standards and proceduresTo train and support the departmental service quality training ensuring LQE are adhered toTo produce a Learning & Development calendar encompassing operative, supervisory and managerial Learning & Development activities and make sure it is followedProvide ongoing support and guidance to employees to facilitate their professional growth and developmentOccasionally travel to other Mandarin Oriental hotels for training purposesCooperate with management to develop career development plans and succession strategies for key positions within the hotelTo play an active part in Fire, Health & Safety trainings, and Food Hygiene training to ensure that all legislation is adhered to; as well as recorded andreviewed in conjunction with the FLHSS Manager where applicableWHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU2+ years of experience in a learning and development roleVery good knowledge of Spanish and English at a communicative level (training in both languages)Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationStrong understanding of learning principles and instructional design methodologiesExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsGood knowledge of Training & Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Performance ManagementHOW WE WILL REWARD YOUWe believe that happy and motivated employees are the cornerstone of any successful company.
