Initially the role will support the P&C department facilitating the learning and training programmes for all employees together with managing trainees and Rising Fan Programme. From teambuilding events to the online training platform The Loop, this role will be pivotal in organizing everything to ensure the courses run smoothly, as well as facilitating and getting actively involved with the delivery and/or supporting external training partners.
Responsibilities In charge of recruiting trainees for all departments within the hotel creating activities and doing the correct follow-up during their stay with us. Manage and follow up the MO Rising Fan Programme. You will play a pivotal role in organizing training programmes for colleagues including all arrangements - invitations, meeting rooms, training materials, equipment, catering, external training providers etc. Once you have settled into the role, you'll also be responsible for delivery some L&D training courses. A priority within the role will be to support the P&C team during the Development Cycle and Talent Review process. Deal with external suppliers and coordinate accordingly. Overview all L&D administration tasks required by Mandarin Oriental policies, including quality procedures. Requirements Previous L&D experience. A plus in hospitality. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge and experience of the full learning cycle. Well organized - able to prioritize and approach challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. Innovative thinking and creative problem solving. Ambitious, quick learner and hunger to succeed and to be part of a great team. Able to be discreet and maintain complete confidentiality of all P&C-related information. Spanish & English are a must.
