In this role, the incumbent should be passionate about helping people learn and grow.
The incumbent is expected to have proven skills in designing and implementing a range of learning initiatives.
Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
The main objective will be helping business succeed by training and developing employees.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement learning strategies and programsEvaluate individual development needsDesign training programs customized to business and individual goals and needsImplement various learning methods e.g.
coaching, job-shadowing, online trainingMaintain LD budgets and negotiate contractsMaintain strong relationships with vendors and consultantsCreate and assess the success of individual development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunitiesSupport managers develop their team members through career pathingCultivate and support a community of LD Specialists across the regionSupport Global LD initiatives through regional implementationBe an active LD champion and represent the region through regular communication with Global LD teamSupport embedding UPL culture through various initiatives around LD, Org CultureSupport the understanding and embedding of the HR core processes by designing ad hoc materials and tools to better communicate them and engage the different communitiesConstantly define KPIs, track them and measure the success of the different trainingsPromote the talent development philosophy by running workshops with the different stakeholders and communities to explain itDesign and deploy learning tools in line with the digitalization of the regionKey RequirementsBSc/BA in Business, HR Master or a related field, professional certification (e.g.
CPLP) is mandatoryPassion for helping people growMandatory excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is preferable5 years of relevant work experience as an LD Manager, Training Manager or similarPast work experience in a global multicultural organizationExcellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a matrix environmentCurrent knowledge of effective learning and development methodsFamiliarity with e-learning platforms and practicesExperience in project management and budgetingProficiency in MS Office and with different kinds of Learning Management Systems (LMS)Ability to build strong networks and rapport with employees and vendorsWe are one team, for maximum impact.
