This role will be vital in helping to increase sales of our English language assessment and learning materials in the area, Madrid, Castilla Leon, Castilla La Mancha, Andalusia and Extremadura in line with our ambitious targets.We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.About the roleAs our next Learning & Assessment Consultant, you will support the achievement of annual revenue targets by implementing the approved country strategic plans and by developing both existing and new business in the Centro Area and South Area of Spain. Specifically, you will:Develop a detailed understanding of Cambridge's learning and assessment portfolio for English to contribute to the achievement of annual revenue and profitability targets in the Central Area of Spain, and to provide expert consultation with decision makers and influencers.Build strong relationships with our key partners across learning, assessment and Exams Centres, providing extensive support and facilitating the best possible experience of Cambridge products.Carry out direct visits to existing customers and potential new customers, according to agreed prioritisation and country strategic plans.Grow and maintain an accurate pipeline of leads and opportunities within our Customer Relationship Management system (CRM). This work will require focus in Madrid but with travels to Castilla Leon, Toledo, Guadalajara, all provinces in Andalusia and Extremadura.About youYou will be a creative and industrious individual who works well both independently and as part of a team, and who has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you will:Have good knowledge of the English language teaching and assessment industry in varying contexts.Be highly organised and able to plan your work around your individual, team, and customer requirements.Have a demonstrable ability to ensure outstanding record-keeping which enables you to work towards achieving strategic objectives and budgetary targets.Establish direct relationships with schools and other institutions, nurturing existing accounts and cross-selling the full range of products in all transactions.Preferably already have experience in sales and marketing as well as some existing knowledge of Cambridge learning and assessment products.Have C1 level of English as a minimum.
