Role overview: The primary focus of the role involves the strategic development and programme management of global multi-site Lean Production initiatives that aim to drive growth and development across the company's sites.
Key responsibilities include delivering lean methodology standards, running workshops, conducting audits, and assessing workbooks and equipment standards.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership and follow up on the definition of projects related to different initiatives of Growth and individual sites, including:Creation and implementation of OPEX workbookLeadership in major capital investment projectsDefining equipment standards, workflow, and layoutsLeading OPEX Workshops across multiple factoriesSupporting audits to state Operational Excellence level of the plantsFacilitating deployment of lean manufacturing and OPEX mentalityCreating tracking systems for projectsMonitoring the status of Lean Initiatives for the plantsSupporting the definition of technical standards for new investmentsCoaching teams in the implementation of operational excellence initiativesWorking closely with the Global Operational Excellence Director to identify improvement opportunitiesCollaborating with different regions to support identifying Best PracticesCollaborating with functions such as IT, CI, Innovation, Production, QualityTracking savings from Operational Excellence initiativesStandardizing and harmonizing activities across global locationsSupporting benchmarking and workshops by collecting and analyzing dataEnsuring compliance with Company Management Systems (e.g., Project, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Regulations)Education & Training: Lean/6Sigma certification or equivalentAdvanced MS Office and Power BI skillsExperience: Over 10 years' experience in Lean/6Sigma methodologies across multiple sitesInternational lean programme management experienceOver 15 years' experience in manufacturing environments (ideally automotive or operations excellence sectors)Proven experience in defining and implementing an OPEX strategyPrepared to travel extensively on an international basisStrong analytical thinking and strategic mindsetOrganizational capability and resilienceAbility to present at all levelsHigh motivation and sophisticated communication skillsFor EU roles, candidates must be eligible to work and live in the European Union.
