As a Lean Accounting Expert, you will support projects that will drive finance and accounting standardization and efficiency. As a valuable member of our Accounting Shared Services for Europe and North America, you will have a responsibility of driving projects and various tools implementation acting as the link between the accountants and our IT business partners. Since we are going through SAP S/4HANA implementation you will be part of the team that will prepare the business for this transition. Moreover, you will be expected to apply lean methodology principles to optimize financial processes across the organization. This role is suitable for candidates with good experience in finance, good knowledge in SAP S/4HANA (FI & CO) and a desire to grow their project management skills.
Key Responsibilities: SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Collaborating with project team bringing SAP S/4HANA experience to prepare the business and support the planning, execution, and monitoring of SAP S/4HANA implementation for accounting globally. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in defining project objectives and deliverables. Learn and contribute to the integration of SAP S/4HANA into finance processes - SAP FI & CO. Act as one of the counterparties to the IT department to represent the business view for the implementation. Lean Methodology: Learn and apply lean methodology principles under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and participate in streamlining efforts. Contribute to optimizing financial processes for increased efficiency. Project Skills: Assist in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Work with senior team members to coordinate project resources and track milestones. Support risk identification and the implementation of mitigation strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA (Finance & Accounting) – Key user experience is a plus Experience with OCR recognition is a plus Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment. Knowledge of Lean methodology and/or project management desired Quick comprehension and good analytical skills Fluent in English (German and others are a plus) Very good communication skills.
