.TPI Composites is the leading wind-blade manufacturer and the only independent wind blade manufacturer with a global footprint.We are looking for a motivated Customer Warranty Technical Leader to join our Customer Warranty Management (CWM) Department.The position reports to the Problem-Solving Manager.Key Objectives The new Customer Warranty Management (CWM) Department oversees TPI Composite blade products integrity at customer sites (windfarms) within the warranty period.As our new Customer Warranty Technical Leader, you are an excellent communicator and a recognized knowledge technical leader in the area of composites engineering, manufacturing, and problem solving with direct and applicable knowledge on wind blade production processes to include, but not limited to infusion, composite repair, composite inspection, process troubleshooting, composite blade failure, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions definition, and design for manufacturability.Main Responsibilities Leader of (Responsible for) several Warranty technical projects across different products and customers.Act as Technical Project Leader in Warranty projects, forming a team of experts and supporters from different internal functions (ENG-Quality-Factories-CWM Technical support) and driving it through all technical steps of the project (Technical Review gates). Escalate any deviations and risks identified.Follow and ensure compliance to internal CWM process and take initiatives to continuously improve it.Act as a technical project manager by planning, giving tasks to project team members, and following progress ensuring actions are closed in a timely and qualitatively manner. Escalate project risks such as resource shortage, new technical risks.Be technically strong to question input delivered and validate assumptions.According to the project complexity, request a Special Warranty Project Manager to support on complex planning and coordination of resource-intensive execution (pre-handover to Field Service).Provide regular communication and progress updates to the Customer's project interface and support the Customer Warranty Relations manager with Customer's Central organization communication when required.Escalate to Customer Warranty Relations manager any complex communication to customer or need for overall strategy with Customer's Central organization.Work with Field Service Project Managers in the preparation of windfarm field works execution when required (handover a clear & documented work package) and keep an eye on the progress to report to customers on behalf.Qualifications & Experience Degree in Engineering required. MSc or MBA or PhD preferred.Minimum 10 years related industry experience required with a minimum of 5 years wind blade composites experience.Experience in project management with PMP certification preferred.Lean 6-sigma green belt certification preferred and strong track record in problem analysis and problem resolution
