Your project team is responsible for day-to-day quality assurance and site surveyance within the respective yard.
Your team consists of approx.
up to 8 FTEs working full-time in the project and additional staff from other departments and / or contractors.Project ManagementOrganise a team in an international yard environment and performing regular site surveys for quality assurance purposes; Ensure quality and compliance standards are met and result-oriented completion of assigned activities incl.
local country requirements; Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, requirements and goals set for HSE, time, risk, quality and the framework of TenneT's corporate manuals and guidelinesEnsure implementation and continuous improvement of processes, tools and culture being organizational standards; Contribute to the standardisation of project management approach and optimisation of synergies between several HVDC-systems and off-shore platformsAlign with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and various other departments within TenneT and taking into account lessons learned from other large projectsOrganize and staff two sites (Cadiz & Algeciras) with respective site managers and teamsEnsure the organizational set-up of the Algeciras yards and the consideration of TenneT's needs and requirementsSecure the HSE and quality survey of the two block fabrication yardsPeople ManagementYou set up, staff and (hierarchically) lead an efficient dedicated team, focusing on realizing the project goals and ambitions as well as TenneT's broader goalsYou coach, inspire and actively develop employees and you align proactively hereto with other projects and line managementYou ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectivelyYou foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within LPO and the 2GW departmentsYour profile and backgroundYou have at least 3+ years of experience in a comparable leadership role, managing projects in areas such as offshore or big infrastructure, with basic understandings of the legal aspects for such projectsYou have preferably a Master's degree and an academic level in thinking and working or a comparable qualificationYou are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated and without a 'nine-to-five' mentalityYou have strong communication skills for managing relevant stakeholdersYou are fluent in English and German, additional languages are of advantageYou are willing to travel as per project needs and are willing to work abroad in a yard location environment for an extended period of timeYou are preferably IPMA D certified or open to obtainOur recruiting processIn our online-application-form you can apply within only some minutes as long as this job is posted.
