.Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSEAs per the development strategy of the VWTS ES Products and Standards (P&S) EMEA team, he/she will work inside the P&S Engineering team as Lead Project Engineer and support design/engineering activities during the development of the job execution and bidding stage for Pressurized and Submerged Ultrafiltration product technology.He/she shall work with cross-functional teams involved in the project. He/she has to lead & support/coordinate P&S engineering activities linked to project manager, product manager, process design, equipment procurement, insource, global engineering, factory engineering, and suppliers.MAIN TASKSLead/produce the Technical Engineering packages relevant to the job assigned, ensuring alignment with the time schedule and man-hours budget fixed for the project.Produce or review with the help of the internal team the main technical documentation linked to the project, such as P&IDs, layouts, general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, technical specifications for procurement, datasheets for machinery and equipment, etc.Support the Commercial/Proposals team with the estimate of engineering hours required for the project.Identify and communicate improvement opportunities (REX) and help implement them.Develop/train/mentor junior engineers with technical knowledge and make them independent in specific product technology.Provide site support activities for projects.Support/own the Engineering Standardization/Productization activities within P&S business, such as Valve Rack standardization for Pressurized Ultrafiltration systems, developing standard plug and play skids for MBR plants, etc.Good knowledge of using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/equivalent design tools and able to draw/modify the 3D model/Bill of Material extraction, etc. from SolidWorks tool.Support and control engineering hours spent, monitoring quality and timelines with insource/internal team for the drawings/documents produced.Evaluate technically bids from different suppliers.Lead in project technical meetings.Liaise with the Global Product Engineering group to maintain network, exchange knowledge, and stay updated on the latest developments.Lead and support Project Manager/Factory/Quality team with CE/UKCA marking certification, compiling related documents/technical files, etc.Act in accordance with the ethical principles of Products & Standards and the Veolia Group.Respect and ensure compliance with Veolia's policies, processes, and procedures, including health, safety, quality, and environmental policy.TYPICAL PROFILEMechanical, Chemical, or Environmental engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the Project Engineering field.QualificationsSKILLSGood knowledge and understanding of Mechanical and Project engineering in the water treatment field
