Lead Pricing Expert

As Lead Pricing Expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue and enhance profit margins. Your expertise will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that pricing models are both effective and aligned with market dynamics. This role requires a strong analytical background and the ability to closely collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement pricing strategies in collaboration with the business and cross-functional teams based on market trends, customer demand and data-driven insights (i.e. new margin target setup based on new customer segmentation).
Create and deliver upon a pricing solution roadmap together with functional and technical experts, and other departments to streamline pricing processes including automation and integration with other systems and applications.
Design and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making processes.
Ensure pricing digital solutions are up-to-date, reliable and aligned with industry standards and practices.
Provide data extraction/analysis support to prepare pricing reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
Use advanced analytics and define KPIs to evaluate pricing performance to forecast future pricing needs and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with Commercial and Global Pricing teams to ensure cohesive pricing strategies.
Provide training and support to pre-sales and commercial teams on pricing tools and strategies.
Ensure all pricing practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
You bring
5-7 years experience with pricing software or tools (SAP SD-Pricing module, etc).
Proficient in analyzing market trends and competitor pricing using statistical tools such as Excel, etc.
Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and CRM (MS Dynamics) software.
Knowledge of industry-specific pricing challenges and regulations.
Critical thinking skills to address pricing challenges and adapt strategies based on changing market conditions.
Strong teamwork skills to work across departments, such as marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure pricing strategies are cohesive.
Experience in agile product development.
Proficient in data visualization.
Strong communication skills to articulate pricing strategies to business stakeholders (English as the global preferred language).
