Position Overview
As a Senior Network Security Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of our organization's network infrastructure. Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in network security operations, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team of professionals to analyze, troubleshoot, and respond to network security incidents and configuration requests. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining a secure and resilient network environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate security solutions such as firewalls, remote access solutions, AWS Security groups, DNS, web filtering, and related technologies.
Respond to incidents and service requests timely and accurately, following our security policy, principles, and blueprints.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of network traffic patterns to troubleshoot and resolve incidents within our scope.
Configure network security equipment such as firewalls, remote access VPN, DNS, proxy, and load balancers.
Audit configurations to ensure compliance and support site audits to ensure compliance with frameworks.
Experience and Qualifications
Possess a strong background in network security operations, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience in monitoring and operating security solutions, such as Firewalls, NIPS, VPN, Cloud Security Solutions, and related technologies.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with network security technologies and tools, including but not limited to firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), Firewall Orchestration in Algosec is a plus, NIPS, Global Protect VPNs, Cloud Security within AWS and Azure, Zscaler proxy servers.
Knowledge and interest in Automation with Ansible, scripting, etc. is a plus.
Proven ability to effectively respond to security incidents and service requests, following security policies, principles, and established procedures.
Strong skills in conducting comprehensive analysis of network traffic patterns, behavior, events, alerts, and logs.
Knowledge of auditing configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management.
