What you'll be doing:We're seeking a Lead Graphic Designer who's not only passionate about innovation but also experienced in guiding and managing a team of talented designers. You'll be at the forefront of driving creative excellence while mentoring and empowering your team to reach new heights.
Support and lead the graphic designers in creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various marketing campaigns, including social media, email, web, and print materials.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.Develop and maintain design guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity across all platforms.Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.Manage the design team's workload, ensuring efficient distribution of tasks and timely completion of projects.Conduct regular design reviews to ensure high-quality standards and adherence to brand guidelines.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and technologies into the design process.Work with external vendors and freelancers as needed to support design projects.What you need to succeed:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.8+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and similar tools.Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a passion for creativity and innovation.Why you'll love it at Preply:An open, collaborative, dynamic and diverse culture.A generous monthly allowance for lessons on Preply.com, Learning & Development budget and time off for your self-development.A competitive financial package with equity, leave allowance and health insurance.Not in Barcelona?
