What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced lead game designer to join our team. Not just someone who does the work, but someone who also thinks critically and contributes to the creative process sharing our passion for shaping the future of immersive experiences.
Requirements
Highly collaborative spirit as you will work closely with 3D Artists, Art Director, Creative Director, Experience Leads and Project Managers.
Leadership skills to lead a medium size team.
Capacity to review and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to assist in asset performance and validation.
Skilled in researching and keeping up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging game design techniques and technologies.
Engaged in playtesting sessions, gathering and analyzing feedback to iterate on and improve experience performance, features and mechanics.
Ability to create engaging game themes and mechanics.
Must have hard skills
At least 5 years of experience in game design.
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
Knowledge of video game optimization techniques.
Expert in Unity3D (coding is not required, however being able to understand the code is a big plus).
Experience with Cinema4D, 3DSMax or Maya.
Knowledge and experience with XR apps.
Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.
Solid understanding of art and animation pipelines.
Soft Skills & Other
Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with differences between creative and technical teams.
Ability to organize and manage the work of a team of 3D Artists and Technical 3D Artists.
Great communication skills, able to lead the team through new challenges with a friendly approach.
Focus on delivering highest quality work rather than speedy work.
Passion for XR, AR, VR, and Video Games (Gamers are welcome).
Virtual reality experience (Quest, Vive, GearVR, etc.).
Ability to adapt quickly to changes and new requirements.
Team player with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Knowledgeable and passionate about emerging technologies.
You will have a Big Plus if you are familiar with:
Node-based shader creation
Audio and Video editing
UI design
Familiarity with organizational tools such as Slack, Trello, ClickUp, or similar apps.
Knowledge of version control platforms such as GIT (Bitbucket)
Language requirements
Must have an excellent level of Spanish
An at least intermediate level of English
