We are looking for a Lead Engineer to work on a project in the renewable energy industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. Our client is changing how businesses and consumers use energy for the better, helping achieve a greener and more sustainable energy system that works better for everyone.
The project is expected to last for 3 months, with the potential for an extension based on performance and project needs. Therefore, we are seeking a candidate who is available to start immediately.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
What you will do:
Play a pivotal role in architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
Key contributor to the team in the design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality software.
Guide, mentor, and upskill engineering teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Creating IaC using CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit.
Advocate and contribute to establishing an Agile and DevOps culture in the team.
What you will bring:
Understanding of architectural design patterns and how to apply them to cloud-based deployments for optimal scalability and performance.
Knowledge and demonstrated ability with Java and Spring Boot.
Knowledge of how to build an application using Gradle.
Advanced skills in OOP and software design patterns and best practices.
Solid experience in Microservice Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
Experience with AWS (SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Cloudwatch Events, Lambda, DynamoDB, DynamoDB Streams, Kinesis, Secret Manager, and many more).
Experience with Jenkins.
Solid experience in culture, practices, and tools related to Agile and DevOps.
Fluent in written and verbal communication in English.
