Lead Developer

We are looking for a Lead Developer with both strong technical expertise and management experience.
You should have a solid background in backend development, along with experience in leading teams, delegating tasks, and driving technical design and architecture decisions.
Your ability to balance technical problem-solving with team leadership will be key to driving project success.
Technical Skills5+ years in backend development following best practices (OOP, design patterns, SOLID).
Expertise in development with Java and Spring, including JPA/Hibernate and Spring Security.
Experienced with the design and implementation of distributed architectures for high-performance applications.
Competent in the use and configuration of DevOps tools for CI/CD.
Management SkillsExperience as a Lead Developer with strong skills in project oversight, team supervision, and sustainable software design.
Skills in task planning, delegation, and mentoring junior developers through training and support.
Proficient in multi-developer project management, specifically with Gitlab.
Nice to HaveKnowledge of energy or transportation sectors.
Working ConditionsPermanent contract, managerial status with a 4-month probationary period.
Up to 2 days of remote work per week possible.
Flexible working hours.
Offices located in the city center of each city where we are located.
Recruitment ProcessStep 1: An initial technical interview via video conference with two recruiters (45 minutes x 2).
Step 2: A second interview via video conference with two other recruiters, as well as a brief 15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys (45 minutes x 2 + 15 minutes).
Step 3: If your interviews are successful, we will invite you to visit our premises to make you an offer in person and introduce you to the work environment.
