.Job Summary: An exciting opportunity for a Senior/Lead data analyst to join a highly collaborative data and analytics (D&A) team in designing and implementing use cases for Europe and Global Segments (EGS) in an international health insurance company.
This role will work closely with the business functions to understand the use cases and use SQL and Python to develop user-friendly D&A solutions against our cloud-based customer data that target service reliability and availability and reduce patient impact.
The Senior/Lead data analyst is expected to actively participate with the agile team in the implementation of the D&A roadmap in collaboration with the EGS business functions, central D&A team, and central network and clinical teams.
Responsibilities: Act as liaison between D&A team and Europe and Global Segment (EGS) business function use case owners.
Model data, develop Tableau solutions, and identify and develop solutions to democratize the data.
Provide advanced professional input to complex Infrastructure assignments/projects.
Assist in the development of logical database designs, data models, and relational database definitions across multiple computing environments (e.G., host-based, distributed systems, client-server).
Assist in the identification and analysis of information flows and interfaces between corporate business processes and in transforming the information into logical databases and relational database definitions.
Participate in the analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with clients and IT management and staff.
Assist in data modeling studies and the development of detailed data models through consultation with clients and staff.
Work autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others.
Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.
Utilize in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends within Data Modeling.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics or similar; work experience equivalent.
3+ years of experience in SQL.
Experience with Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools.
Familiarity and experience in Python or similar tools.
Prior experience in Data Modeling.
Business acumen.
This position is a band 3 role and salary depends on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
