As a rapidly scaling Series A startup that raised $34 million in funding, we're proud to partner with globally recognized brands such as ASUS, Docker, Activision, H&R; Block, and many others.Our diverse team of curious, open, and hard-working individuals is committed to cultivating a fast-paced, agile culture that values personal and professional growth.Please note that relocation to Latin American countries is a requirement for this position.Responsibilities Develop and oversee the architectural design of Improvado's platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance enhancements.Improve and maintain the knowledge base of architectural design principles, product components, and infrastructure.Lead the implementation of new functionalities, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Optimize the performance of services to ensure a fast and responsive user experience.Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall codebase improvements.Participate in Agile development methodology, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Participate in knowledge sharing with the team.Qualifications and Skills Able to design and architect maintainable and scalable technical systems.Proficiency in commercial development experience for at least 8 years (OOP, multi-threading, high-load).Proven track record in developing REST services, coupled with a thorough understanding of network operations.Deep understanding of SOLID, DDD, and various architecture design patterns.Deep understanding of the Data Engineering tech landscape.Proficiency in relational database management systems, with hands-on experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries, including indexing, transactions, and partitioning.Experience with NoSQL databases.Familiarity with cloud services and their development.Advanced proficiency in Linux usage at an expert level.Proficiency in CI/CD practices.What We Offer Remote-first environment.27 days of PTO per year.US holidays and additional days off.Extremely fun & open startup environment.Professional development reimbursement.Relocation assistance (LATAM countries).#J-18808-Ljbffr
