ICON Health Economics & Epidemiology is currently seeking to appoint a Principal, Systematic Reviews/Evidence Synthesis to join its global team. This team is highly respected in the field of health economics and epidemiology for quality and innovation, undertaking consultancy projects for international clients in both the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The candidate will be required to support the team in taking senior managerial responsibility for the department. In addition, the candidate recruited for this role will be expected to utilise their skills in systematic reviews and/or evidence synthesis to contribute to all aspects of the department's work as well as supporting the development of the team globally. What you will do/What you will need As a Lead Consultant, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of, and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business and meeting client needs. Lead, manage and quality check high quality delivery of evidence synthesis and analytical tasks and projects for clients to time and budget including (but not limited to): indirect treatment comparison, network meta-analysis, survival/statistical analyses. Provide strategic and technical expertise both to clients and internally, and demonstrate experience across state-of-the-art methods in evidence synthesis including deterministic and Bayesian network meta analyses. Proficiency in statistical packages for evidence synthesis including WinBugs/OpenBugs, R. Understands the role of evidence synthesis within the HTA processes and support preparation HTA submissions. Develops study designs and analytic plans to answer research questions. Leads development of qualitative and/or qualitative analysis plans for evidence synthesis including network meta-analysis, literature review, statistical analysis and generates report fit for client submission. Leads development of deliverable document outline and format. Supports other project activities as needed, completes internal documentation and quality-checks the work of others
