Clarivate is seeking to hire a dynamic Lead Accountant to join our growing, global Accounting and Controllership team!
This is a permanent role within the Group's International Controllership and Accounting function with specific responsibilities for our five French legal entities.
The global finance function continues to develop as the group integrates acquired companies.
Challenges ahead for the successful candidate include ensuring continued adherence to the group's reporting timetable, maintenance of controls and a continued drive for increased quality and efficiency of reporting.The jobholder will be accountable for the effective and timely delivery of the monthly close activities and supporting the associated reporting for the relevant business groups, assisting with the production and submission of local statutory and compliance requirements, including the preparation of the monthly FEC files, and meeting the quarterly reporting requirements for the Clarivate Group.
The role requires strong relationship building with business finance, corporate functions, internal external audit, and within the shared service centre community and is critical in ensuring that all revenue, costs, commitments, assets, and liabilities are accurately recorded on a timely basis.
This role will provide support and control of the business units' balance sheets and ensure that the financial statements reflect local and international standards as well as complying with the Sarbanes Oxley recommendations.
