What we do Our functional and technical SAP insurance solution team covers all areas of insurance operations, including underwriting, policy administration, claims, commissions, finance, accounting, and reporting.
As one of the largest S4i teams in the world, we employ SAP frontend/backend developers, S4i consultants, SAP integration consultants, and insurance industry experts.
What you will do - Responsible for technical design, coding, unit testing, technical documentation, and walkthroughs for all assigned SAP related projects to support company business and operational needs.
- Ensures software development follows the defined programming standards and follows the code/design review processes.
- To do software design, development, and package implementation using SAP ABAP.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
What we are looking for Requirements: - You should have at least a minimum of 3 years of experience in ABAP development and/or configuration in SAP FS-CM.
- OO ABAP - a strong conceptual knowledge.
- Knowledge of BDT (Business Data Toolset) and BRF (Business Rules framework).
- Expertise in creating ABAP Data dictionary Objects.
- Development experience in BAPI.
- Strong experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interface, Conversions, Exit, Forms, and Workflow).
- Higher relevant education degree (Economics, Information Technology or equivalent).
- Hands-on in Enhancements (BADI and Exit).
- Hands-on in SAP Conversion programs like BDCs, LSMW, etc.
- Hands-on in Scripts, Smart forms, and Adobe forms.
- Hands-on in User exits, customer exits, and search exits.
- Knowledge in Module pool programming.
- Ability to provide performance analysis and prerequisites.
- Ability to understand the functional requirements directly from Users/Clients and translate them to technical specifications.
- Flexible for both domestic and international short-term/long-term travel.
Nice to have: - Experience in SAP for Insurance and Reinsurance modules like FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-ICM, FS-CD, and FS-RI is a significant plus.
- SAP Certification is an added advantage.
