About the role: Please note that this is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the intention to lead to a permanent position. We are seeking a Transport Planner to oversee the logistics of finished product deliveries and inbound raw materials for the Seville site, ensuring smooth coordination with assigned logistics companies for transport management and associated documentation management. The role also entails internal coordination within the Supply Chain team to schedule loading and unloading slots, liaising with the Warehouse team, and the Customer Service team for sharing information about order departure and delivery information to customers, as well as managing import and export documentation.
Key responsibilities: Coordinate with our assigned logistics companies to procure transportation services for finished products and raw materials.
Manage all associated documentation for transportation, including but not limited to customs paperwork, delivery receipts, and shipping manifests.
Internal coordination with the Warehouse team to schedule loading and unloading slots efficiently.
Collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure accurate and timely communication of order departure and delivery information to customers.
Handle import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Proficiently utilize SAP for transport-related transactions, including VL10g, VA06O, and other relevant modules.
Qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in ideally Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Ideally experience in transport planning and logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
An understanding of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation requirements would be a plus.
User proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for managing transportation transactions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
