We seek to hire a highly skilled Lawyer to join our in-house legal team in Spain.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Provide accurate, timely, clear, and well-reasoned legal advice and support primarily to Destinus business.
- Anticipate and identify legal issues of concern and proactively develop effective legal solutions.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various legal documents, including NDAs, consulting, employment, procurement, supply, and service.
- Provide legal support to the procurement, sales, and engineering teams in relation to contract negotiations.
- Work closely with the product development team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage corporate governance and secretarial responsibilities, including but not limited to filing for and maintaining business and company registrations in Spain and managing legal documents and corporate records.
- Provide advice on compliance, incl. data protection and privacy regulations.
- Provide advice and support to the business to ensure compliance with Destinus policies.
- Ensure Destinus complies with national and international laws as well as local statutes and regulations.
- Proactively manage claims and disputes arising in relation to Destinus business, ensuring swift resolution of potential claims to mitigate costs and work with external counsel when necessary.
- Support legal team in other locations.
Requirements
- A law degree, and at least 5 years of experience working as a lawyer and compliance specialist, preferably in the industry sector or a law firm focusing on commercial laws.
- Strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (French and/or German would be a plus).
