We are autonomous, and we deeply care about the quality of our work.About The Role: Cobee is in a scaling mission going through high-growth. We are launching new markets across the globe. We are looking for a Launching Manager to build and execute a winning strategy to open new markets in LATAM and EMEA. As a Launching Manager, you will report to our Chief Sales Officer, and you'll be responsible for anything related to opening new markets.
Some of your key responsibilities will be: Researching the different markets in order to build knowledge.Sequentially implementing the company on-site in the selected markets until it achieves some maturity, and after this, hand it over to a country manager (hiring the team, defining product adaptations, closing the first deals, finding M&A opportunities, etc.).Building an internationalization playbook to make next openings more scalable.Getting to a point where we can have several country launchers opening countries in parallel under your guidance.Main challenges: Deepening the research of the most relevant markets (e.g. competitors, most relevant benefit schemes and legislations, market sizes, barriers to entry, etc.).Being a culture advocate within the company living by our core values.Being entrepreneurial in order to travel to the country that we want to open and start hiring the team, setting up the company, talking to clients, involving lawyers, etc.Researching any M&A or partnership opportunities we might find in the target country.Working together with the Marketing team to ensure we make noise with our arrival.Building and leading the launching team until it is mature enough to leave it to a country manager in a steadier state.Defining how a phased product implementation should look like and managing the development requirements under the product & tech squad you would lead as the business owner of the squad.Making sure we meet deadlines and refine the product as we start growing sales in the country.Sequentially starting to prepare the next countries to be opened in order to meet our internationalization plan.Building a playbook to open countries.Hiring and developing a team of launchers in order to start preparing launchings in parallel under your supervision.Managing the internationalization budget to achieve our overall company goals.Building, guiding, inspiring and coaching our Launchings Team.Tracking, monitoring and analyzing the results and performance of the department.Ensuring the rest of the company is aligned with the direction we are taking in terms of Internationalization (especially Product and Marketing, as they need to plan ahead).Actively participating in the definition of the global company strategy with the rest of the management team.Driving and representing the values of the company internally and externally.You are: Someone who takes ownership, has an ambitious mindset, and is highly oriented towards customer and user satisfaction.A highly-motivated person with an entrepreneurial spirit.Business-minded and capable of speaking to strategic growth.Flexible, a self-starter and autonomous, with a can-do attitude.An excellent organizational and analytical person: you go crazy with a beautiful company performance report.A thought-leader.A problem-solver.Someone with a goal-driven mindset.An excellent communicator.
