As a Research Associate within BCG's Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our European DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research specialized in Technology, Media and Telecoms topics, you will contribute to BCG's client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases, and business or internal development initiatives. You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate, and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on a range of media and technology-related topics while delivering meaningful insights.
Excellent organizational skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles, etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

Knowledge@BCG consists of the Knowledge Team (KT), Data & Research Services (DRS), and Knowledge & Collaboration Solution (KCS). KT is a group of experts within respective fields or areas providing industry, functional, and geographic expertise to consulting teams. KT members are aligned to Practice Areas, sometimes serving as members of case or project teams. KT offers insight into a topic or function derived from BCG's knowledge base and case/project experience. The members of our DRS team work alongside consulting team colleagues to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. KCS team is a cross-functional team equipping BCGers with internal and external knowledge resources and digital collaboration tools, enabling them to work smarter and with increased productivity.
Minimum Requirements Undergraduate degree minimum (a preference for a degree in business, technology, or media)
Understanding (and interest) in Technology related topics (Like Software, IT services, Semiconductors, Consumer Tech, etc)
0-2 years relevant working experience; preferably in market research, consulting, or TMT sector
Fluent in English & Spanish; another language is a plus (German preferred)
The Data and Research Services (DRS) function is a dynamic and highly visible center of excellence focused on business research and process innovation. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. DRS provides specialist research services to consulting teams and our Knowledge Team, taking deep pride in developing rapid and precise results.
DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities, and trade data.
