We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Autophagy and Lysosomal Dysfunction team at the Neurodegenerative Diseases Group.
Education and qualifications: Required: FP2 (Técnico Superior en Laboratorio Clínico y Biomédico or equivalent) Certificate in handling animals for research purposes Experience and knowledge: Required: At least 4 years of experience Experience in animal experimentation Experience in cell biology and molecular biology techniques: protein analysis techniques, maintenance and manipulation of cell cultures, histopathology techniques, immunofluorescence microscopy, purification and processing of biological samples (DNA, RNA, proteins), PCR, quantitative PCR, genotyping, etc.
Desired: Any type of training courses related to the job description will be valued very positively.
Main responsibilities and duties: Technical support in mouse experimental procedures.
Technical support in other molecular biology techniques.
Support in lab organization (manage orders, reagent preparation).
Labour conditions: Full-time: 40h/week Starting date: Immediate Gross annual salary: 20.288,10.
Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
