JOB DESCRIPTION: CIC energiGUNE is searching for a laboratory technician for the Cell Prototyping group to engage in the research and development of new generation Li ion batteries.
Main job functions: Perform both routine and more complex experiments such as:
Inks formulation Preparation of slurries and rheological characterizations Laminates Cell assembly Cleaning the machinery and the tools of leftover material following safety procedures Handle the waste materials according to the established safety and environmental protocols Electrochemical characterizations Participate actively in projects and support the group activity. Support preparing reports or technical documentation. Search and select new accessories according to the needs and possibilities. Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment. Modification proposals both for the installations and the process equipment according to the technical documentation and at the level of the technician. Internal training activities related to their knowledge. Incident reporting. Support students' activities. Area: Electrochemical energy storage (EES)

Higher vocational education in Laboratory Techniques or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials science, Engineering or other scientific disciplines in a related field. Organization and time management skills. A good team player who can collaborate with other groups, academic and industrial partners. Good verbal and written communication skills in English. It will be positively valuated background in these fields:
Dispersion and inks formulation. Printability tests and analysis Printing technologies such as coating, screen printing etc. Characterization of inks and / or coatings (rheology, peeling test, etc)
