Read on to find out what we can offer you!Your main mission will be to carry out the preparation of samples, assays, analyses and tests necessary to support the research and innovation processes of the BCC Innovation Technology Center, in order to ensure accurate and reliable results.Our main lines of work are focused on:Developing physicochemical and microbiological characterization of new products and formulations.Testing new technological developments related to the gastronomic sector through physicochemical and instrumental food indicators.Evaluating raw materials and by-products (agri-food and HORECA channel) to incorporate them as ingredients in products of high gastronomic value.Evaluating foods adapted for people with specific needs.Monitoring food transformation and preservation processes.Accompanying food companies in their innovation processes for product development or reformulation.For this purpose, the tasks to be performed are the following:Analyzing samples by means of physicochemical, instrumental and microbiological tests.Applying standard work protocols (SOPs) and participating in their development.Managing and recording laboratory test results while maintaining traceability.Participating in the development, optimization and validation of analytical methods.Managing the inventory: preparing data sheets, work instructions, following maintenance plans.Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the laboratory.Managing purchases of laboratory equipment and reagents.Participating in the preparation of project reports.Participating in the area's research and innovation projects.Requirements Do you feel identified with the following characteristics?You have a Higher Degree in areas related to laboratory work (Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, Industrial Chemistry, Processes and Quality in the Food Industry, Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or related degrees).You have previous professional experience in performing physicochemical and instrumental and/or microbiological tests.You have knowledge of quality standards, good laboratory practices (GLP) and safety and hygiene standards.You like to work in a team.You have a proactive attitude and great predisposition to learn and improve processes.You have a B2 level of English.You will make a difference if:You have complementary training related to the subject.You have experience working with microbiological and molecular biology techniques.You have experience working with chromatographic (HPLC) and spectrophotometric techniques.You are passionate about the gastro-food world.What can you expect at the Basque Culinary Center?To work in an environment based on trust.
