Laboratory Analyst I

Performs laboratory tests required by Saybolt's clients with supervision, to determine chemical or physical characteristics designated by the client.General ResponsibilitiesAssist other chemists from the department and Chief Analyst or Laboratory Account Managers in laboratory responsibilities.Ensure efficient work within the laboratory to meet client needs accurately and in a timely manner.Develop and fulfill functions as described in each job description, including specific standby services, during ordinary working hours.Run analyses at the lowest possible costs while meeting safety, quality of service, and asset maintenance requirements.Ensure full cooperation with department and Managers on all assignments.Follow all company procedures established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, and Saybolt Compliance Code.Maintain awareness of all updates and act accordingly.Exhibit a professional appearance and attitude, and act in harmony with fellow employees.Analyst I reports directly to Chief Analyst and/or Laboratory Account Managers.
