Performs laboratory tests required by Saybolt's clients with supervision, to determine chemical or physical characteristics designated by the client.
General Responsibilities Analyst I shall assist other chemists from the department and Chief Analyst or Laboratory Account Managers in his responsibility duties of the laboratory.
Analyst I is responsible for the efficient work within the laboratory, so that he can meet client needs accurately and in time.
The functions to be developed by the chemists are mainly included within the laboratory activity, so that the development and fulfillment of the functions of the description of each job, including the specific service of standby, constitute a function of the job and are carried out within the ordinary working day, as long as they are carried out as effective working time.
Is responsible for and takes care of running the analysis at the lowest possible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of service and maintenance of assets. Senior Analyst must ensure full cooperation with his department and his Managers on all assignments.
Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly.
Chemists or Lab Analysts are expected to exhibit professional appearance and attitude. They are also expected to act in harmony with fellow employees.
Analyst I reports directly to Chief Analyst and/or Laboratory Account Managers.
