Laboratory Analyst I

Laboratory Analyst IJob PurposePerforms laboratory tests required by Saybolt's clients with supervision, to determine chemical or physical characteristics designated by the client.General ResponsibilitiesAssist other chemists from the department and Chief Analyst or Laboratory Account Managers in laboratory responsibilities.Ensure efficient work within the laboratory to meet client needs accurately and on time.Conduct laboratory activities as described in job functions, including standby service as part of ordinary working hours.Run analyses at the lowest possible costs while meeting safety, quality, and asset maintenance requirements.Ensure full cooperation with department and Managers on all assignments.Follow all company procedures established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, and Ethics Policy.Maintain a professional appearance and attitude, and foster a harmonious work environment with fellow employees.Report directly to Chief Analyst and/or Laboratory Account Managers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
