Job Summary: The Laboratory Analyst portrays a vital role in the whole operation. He executes laboratory procedures, examines and evaluates the delivered raw materials. He is responsible for record keeping and submitting the result sample to different suppliers. Ensures monthly inventory of reagents and provides a sufficient and adequate supply.
Examines all delivered raw materials from different suppliers and completes all the tests required. Conducts final physical evaluation of mycotoxin level and bacteriological tests on incoming samples submitted in the laboratory, including feed microscopy on all incoming feed ingredients, feed supplements, and additives. Evaluates Mycotoxin levels such as Aflatoxin, T-2/HT-2 Toxin, Zearalenone, Deoxynivalenol (DON), Fumonisin, Ochratoxin, and Salmonella Testing on delivered raw materials. Conducts retesting of raw materials as needed for validation purposes. Keeps all incoming feed ingredients, feed supplements, and additives, and finished feeds, ensuring all samples are coded, recorded, and stored properly. Maintains complete, systematic, and well-organized efficient files and communicates with all quality assurance supervisors for reports and documentation. Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment. Conducts monthly inventory of reagents and supplies. Job Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) year background in laboratory work. Graduate of BS Chemistry or any related Science Degree Course. Physically fit with no allergies to feed dust and chemical reagents. Background in Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point. Basic knowledge of laboratory analysis skills. Job Type: Full-time
