About the role Your responsibilities as Labor Relations specialist will include overseeing internal governance processes and legal requirements to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, contributing to overall HR operational efficiency.
Within Labor Relations and legal support activities, you will coordinate with our lawyers and agencies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and CBA.
This role will provide the delivery of 'best in class' Labor Relations consultancy service to both local market business leaders and employees, as well as to leaders globally who may have teams based in Spain.
This role reports to the HR Manager and will be based in Madrid.
Key responsibilities: Be the contact in the company for questions and concerns regarding labor matters.Stay updated on all labor reforms or modifications that may arise to implement them in the company.Prepare and create documents and agreements regarding labor matters, such as work calendars, policies, and contracts.Support business leaders on cases covering all aspects of the employment relationship, including collective bargaining, disciplinary actions, complaints, performance, absence, flexible working, redundancy, and contractual changes.Support information/consultation activities, including the relationship with the Workers Councils and Unions when required.Define and implement the company's compensation and benefits policy.Oversee payroll processes with our external agency.Review and maintain different processes in terms of Health and Safety, with the support of our external vendors.Manage data tools, track and report data to support data-driven decision-making and inform effective prioritization.Focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and agility.Work on automation and digitization of processes where appropriate, leading with an external perspective.Required skills, qualifications, and experience: Minimum of 3 years of Employee Relations experience, including compensation, flexible working, general policies, and contractual changes.Degree or Masters in Labour Relations, Legal or similar.Knowledge of Spanish Employment Legislation application/interpretation, including the ability to quickly assess potential areas of risk.Team worker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and liaise with all levels of management.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.We offer: Performance and experience-based competitive remuneration, pension plan, and department & company-wide team-building events.
