Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.Job Purpose and Impact The Laboratory Technician will complete moderately complex analytical and laboratory testing within the field of veterinary diagnostics in support of the operational teams of our Animal Nutrition business unit.
In this role, you will perform routine analysis on samples of animal origin and will check and monitor instrumentation performance, conduct tests and document results into databases.Key Accountabilities Conduct routine tasks related to samples preparation and laboratory tests on different types of samples of animal origin and support more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervision.Ensure compliance programs for all individual testing, which includes monitoring adherence to regulations and other procedural food safety compliance.Interpret and document results of tests into active databases.Run calibration checks, preventive maintenance tasks of laboratory equipment.Help maintain and improve an effective safety and quality culture in the lab.Handle moderately complex administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Higher degree in Laboratory techniques or equivalent in Science.Minimum of two years of related work experience.Fluent level of English.Preferred Qualifications University degree in Science (preferably Veterinary, Biological Sciences or similar).Previous experience in laboratory, ideally in a Veterinary Diagnostic lab.Strong computer program professional knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals).Write routine reports and correspondence.Our Offer We provide a fast-paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
