To join the Good Rebels team and help us achieve our mission through managing the laboratory area, executing laboratory procedures and leading the administrative tasks within the R&D department.YOUR CHALLENGE:Manage in full autonomy laboratory tasks, including organization and maintenance of laboratory spaces and equipment, samples preparation, coordination of shelf-life studies and nutritional analysis.Assist the R&D Project Managers with product development projects and support all development and pre-launch activities to create winning products.Lead various administrative tasks within the R&D department (e.G. coordinate the purchase of new equipment and consumables, control of lab stock) and collaborate with other functions (Quality, Finance).Identify opportunities to optimize our current lab procedures and ways of working (SOPs, inventory and stock management, equipment and spaces maintenance) and implement them.Safely operate equipment, understands food safety requirements and ability to perform risk assessments.Ensures the laboratory is safe, clean, sanitary, well organized and that building/equipment maintenance operations are performed.YOU WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE, ENJOY AND DO GREAT AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:A Caring attitude towards our mission and see it as a "personal" problem to be solved professionally.Desire to help, assist and solve people's needs with a GoodVibes attitude.Passion for the business and a deep understanding of it to make sure your job at this role is aligned to business needs and goals.Previous experience in similar roles, ideally at an FMCG company or a high-growth startup.A BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline, Food Science, Food Engineering, or similar.Evidence of adapting smoothly to new environments and learning fast.Knowledge across a variety of lab procedures and analytical techniques.An analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.Ability to prioritize and anticipate opportunities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English (mandatory) and Spanish.Ability to create strong and trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
