About the role
The future is closer than you think! Curious to jointly reinvent insurance and put technology, risk insights as well as data & analytics to play to help our clients achieve their business ambitions? We are pleased to invite applicants to pioneer the future with key insurance ecosystem players. You will champion origination and delivery of Swiss Re's Solutions spanning a variety of fields including underwriting, claims and portfolio analytics. With a cross-functional team of engaged professionals you will build Solution stream by leading and managing partnerships with existing and new clients. Combining a clear strategy with drive and persistence you contribute to one of our top priorities: delivering on Solutions and Services.

You shall direct the local Solutions approach and realize it in close cooperation with a cross-functional team that includes colleagues in various areas of expertise. The diverse nature of the role requires effective management of networks and stakeholders both internal and external. You will be required to build effective working engagements with external networks. You use desk research, networking, and creativity to uncover our clients' needs and connect them to a Solution we can offer and a convincing mutual business case. You skillfully navigate the negotiation, bring deals to closure, and orchestrate successful project delivery.

Key Accountabilities
- Develop a sound sales and Go-To-Market strategy and execution for internal and external distribution of solution products and services.
- Manage the pipeline and own client deals from plan to origination to onboarding.
- Act as key point of contact for clients to co-create solutions along the insurance value chain.
- Deliver to our clients in a deal team of professionals, including client and claims managers, underwriters, and other experts.
- Foster collaborative working relationships across group functions, core regional and global functional teams, Globals and client markets.
- Actively develop personal network to reach out to non-traditional distributors and partners.

About the team
The EMEA L&H Sales and Origination Solutions Unit is responsible for developing and executing EMEA Solutions pillar by promoting Swiss Re's value proposition and by developing new growth opportunities in the key markets in EMEA. The Solutions Manager, as part of this unit, is dedicated to developing partnerships and distribution channels for L&H products in an effort to close the protection gap in the fast changing market environment and the dawn of the new generation insurance customer. The team supports and complements the local teams in originating and developing these innovative solutions for their new and existing clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an active member of this cross-regional and cross-functional delivery in a highly dynamic environment.

About You
- You have a minimum 5 years of experience in primary insurance distribution, underwriting, sales and partnerships or another related function in Life and Health (re)insurance or consultancy or insurtech and fintech partners.
- You have a strong track record of sales and results delivery, ideally with tech background.
- You have a good knowledge of the EMEA Life and Health insurance markets.
- You have good knowledge and experience of Swiss Re's ecosystem and Solutions offering.
- You have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills: you inspire and empower others, coach effectively, promote teamwork and have established trust through transparent and concise communication.
- You are passionate to perform and deliver results. A fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and can work effectively when faced with tight deadlines.
- You are able to think out of the box, be open to new ideas and technology.
