Core Responsibilities Work with R&D leaders to align innovation projects with company strategy and market demands.
Lead efforts to evaluate emerging technologies and trends to integrate into the R&D pipeline.
Support the evaluation and prioritization of R&D initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and resource availability.
Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment on objectives and communicate progress effectively.
Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring teams and implementing processes that encourage creative problem-solving.
Monitor and report on the progress of innovation and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and company OKR.
Foster collaboration between R&D, engineering, and other departments (e.g., marketing, sales) to translate innovation into market-ready products.
Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working, ensuring buy-in from teams.
Requirements 8+ years experience in leading innovation or engineering strategies within a technology-driven environment or consultancy firm.
Ideally coming from an engineering academic background.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies effectively.
Proven ability to balance creative thinking with pragmatic decision-making in fast-paced environments.
Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
