As an Actuarial P&C; Associate Director, you will lead project teams dedicated to developing and delivering pricing analyses and predictive modelling activities for our insurance company clients.
You will play a key role in our marketing efforts and the growth of this practice area for key client groups by leading and supporting client project teams as a Subject Matter Expert, and by promoting thought leadership.
As a project leader, you will oversee the client teams with whom you work, and you will serve as a resource to analysts to help them build their technical and client-facing expertise.
You will be expected to meet revenue and billable hour goals as described by your manager and to contribute to intellectual property and research development efforts.
The Role Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.
Participate fully in the ICT practice and the achievement of the overall ICT business plan and budget.
Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Client Relationship Managers.
Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client's broader business issues.
Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches.
Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships that support achieving the revenue goal described by your manager.
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
Serve as mentor to project team associates.
The Requirements Must Haves Experience in PC pricing and predictive modelling.
Experience working in an insurance and/or actuarial consulting environment.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way.
Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget.
Strong client relationship, interpersonal, and team skills.
Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
The ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address clients' business challenges.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Solid experience in Emblem and Radar.
Undergraduate degree from Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science.
Nice to Haves Prior consulting experience in a sales or business development role and client relationship management role.
