The Position We are seeking a Compliance and Legal Counsel with expertise in business ethics and compliance to support our business in Spain. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enabling our business to navigate growth initiatives while safeguarding the company from business ethics, compliance, and reputational risks. You will be accountable for: Developing and maintaining high standards of Business Ethics and Compliance policies and procedures within the country and facilitate their effective implementation. Networking internally and externally and liaising with other business partners and external stakeholders to ensure a harmonized and effective approach to Business Ethics/Compliance within the country. Providing high-quality advice on Business Ethics and Compliance issues and local support to staff and relevant business entities by training, advice, communication, and other methods, as appropriate. Advising on strategic and operational Business Ethics and Compliance issues, including compliance risk assessment, compliance strategy and policy, compliance training and education, and manage, handle and report compliance investigations, as appropriate. Providing fast, effective, high-quality, and business-oriented Legal support to the Spanish affiliate. As a strategic Compliance and Legal Counsel, you will ensure strict adherence to legal and compliance requirements and develop proactive legal and compliance guidance. Ensuring aligned approach in Business Ethics and Compliance among the country, providing advice to the Spanish affiliate. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you have a double Degree in Law and Business Administration. On top of that, we would expect: At least 5 years of on-the-job legal and compliance experience in the healthcare industry. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards. Excellent communication, proactivity, and negotiation skills. Advanced user of IT Tools (Pivot tables, Power BI, AI tools, etc.). Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English.
