Corporate – SAP IBP Application Specialist Our client is a global packaging company with growing operations in Europe, including Germany, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, and Czech Republic.
As a result of their great expansion, they are currently looking for a SAP IBP Application Specialist to join the European team.
About The Role The SAP IBP application specialist oversees support across sites in the EMEA region and ensures consistent improvements of existing target system(s) including the implementation of new functionality across such systems.
The role is a combination of Business Consulting and Solution Delivery and will ensure value at stake is delivered as a #1 project outcome.
Key Job Accountabilities: SAP IBP Template's maintenance and evolutions Provide support, up to L3, for corrections to issues raised by Helpdesk or Demand Managers.
Schedule and monitor periodic jobs in the planning and forecast cycle.
Manage SAP IBP quarterly upgrades.
Technology watching: Evaluate new features of SAP IBP tools in the domain of responsibility to give advice to Business Operations and contribute to the evolutions of the SAP IBP templates.
Project management: Solution being implemented on time in full in budget.
Contribute to document process map and roll-out kit.
Key user training.
Accountable to follow the defined project methodology.
Process key-user requests or issues following the internal governance process.
Create transport requests in development and follow the issue till the closing of the request from the user.
Animate information sharing across sites to take advantage of the SAP IBP usage to avoid duplicated development and study.
Methodological compliance: Ensures project methodology (industrial approach) is understood, applied, and optimized continuously.
Continuous improvement of the roll-out kit for own domain.
Major Challenges & Complexities Introduce / reinforce standardized work e.g.
develop and deploy standard processes, KPIs, governance.
Complex business environment e.g.
with regular changes to the scope (Mergers & Acquisitions), different stakeholder goals, global and local approaches.
Distributed team with very different skill sets and customer culture / approach.
Multi-tasking and setting priorities e.g.
ensuring the priorities are aligned and respected across the BU.
Qualifications/Requirements: SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP module experience, including CPI-DS and APO.
Familiarity with SAP IBP PLM module is advantageous.
Experience in SAP PP and MM modules.
Active participation in multiple SAP IBP implementations across industries.
