The Vice President of Marketing will develop and execute a global marketing strategy to drive demand generation, brand awareness, and market penetration. This role will report directly to the Co-Founder and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and will be crucial in shaping the company's growth trajectory and clearing our path to a net-zero economy. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with extensive experience in SaaS scale-ups or the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities:Demand Generation: Develop and implement multi-channel demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and sales opportunities. Leverage digital marketing, content marketing, events, and partnerships to generate a strong pipeline.Marketing Strategy: Define and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with PVcase's business objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to identify target markets, customer personas, and competitive positioning.Brand Management: Oversee brand development and ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels. Enhance brand recognition and loyalty within renewable energy.Product Marketing: Work closely with the product management and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches. Create compelling product messaging and sales enablement materials.Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.PR and Thought Leadership: Develop and execute a robust PR and thought leadership strategy to enhance the company's public image and position PVcase as an industry leader. Promote the leadership team's expertise and insights through white papers, research reports, webinars, and speaking engagements.Data-Driven Marketing and Budget Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Regularly report on marketing performance, insights, and ROI to the executive team. Control and allocate the marketing budget efficiently to maximize impact and ensure alignment with business objectives.Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that drives results.Minimum Requirements:A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership position.A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.Demonstrated success in scaling marketing efforts for SaaS companies or within the renewable energy sector.Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.Proven experience managing agency partnerships for content generation and local market support.
