Role Objective
This role is the technical expert, working with sales, meeting with customers to analyze their problems, proposing solutions to those problems from their suite of BSS products and convincing them their solution is the right one for them.
This involves building credibility by demonstrating industry knowledge, expertise across a range of BSS products, competitive knowledge, technical agility and bringing insights and lessons learned from other carriers around the world.
Reporting to the Director of Pre-sales EMEA & APAC.

Primary geography is EMEA & APAC with occasional support for ROTW.
Key Responsibilities Support sales prospecting for opportunities with new and existing customers and partnersQualify the customer's functional and technical requirementsProvide product and solution demonstrations with pertinent use-casesCreate collateral to aid in the sales processWork closely with the customers and become a trusted advisorBe the technical expert with an understanding of business valueCreate feasible solutions that solve customer problems with clear ROIInfluence tenders prior to them being issuedRespond to tenders and unsolicited bids with high-quality documentsUnderstand the business needs, technical issues and organizational constraints of customers and prospectsPrepare demonstration platforms and/or "Proof of Concept" POC environments and perform technical and functional demonstrations at customer meetings to decision-makers and/or usersDevelop and improve sales collateral and processes to reduce time to sale and increase win ratioTrack the industry trends and changes and keep up to date with technology and competitorsSkills & Experience Preferred technical criteria: Expertise in B2C billing, including OCSExpertise in CPQ and O2C processes and the platforms that execute them, including order management and service provisioningExpertise in CRM platforms, including ticketing, product catalogKnowledge of interconnect billing, including least cost routing, customer processes and problemsKnowledge of roaming billing, including the standards, TAP/RAP, NRTRDE and new standards such as BCE, plus customer processes and problemsKnowledge on mediationKnowledge of various B2B, B2B2x and SNPN/PNI-NPN use-cases as they are evolving for more complex servicesKnowledge of multi-IMSI solutions, SIM applets and eSIM would be usefulPersonal Attributes: Accountable and delivers on commitmentsProfessional at all timesHonest with others and selfDisciplinedListens wellDoes not offer excusesDeals in facts not emotionOffers solutions not problemsAppetite for continuous learning and improvingQualifications: Degree or equivalent.
