The role Carry out transport modelling: data collection, network coding and analysis
Have an understanding of transportation master plans: land use placement and apportionment, trip generation, road hierarchy development, geometrical constraints, public transport planning and pedestrian planning
Undertake analysis to support preparation of presentations and reports associated with transportation studies and traffic modelling work undertaken
Use transportation analysis software and initiate system changes if and when necessary
Project management of transport planning assignments (or parts of)
Have a positive attitude and be a team player
Be good client facing and have excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Be a self-starter comfortable in taking initiative and responsibility
Be self-motivated, eager to learn and to experience new challenges every day
Be curious about the transport and mobility market, and seek to understand client and sector trends
Requirements Engineering degree level or Geography Degree. Master in Transport Planning or Traffic Engineering will be a plus
1-3 years of working experience in the transport planning sector, especially in traffic macro and/or micro modelling, mobility or pedestrian planning
Knowledge of pedestrian modelling softwares will be advantageous
A keen desire to improve transport systems and willingness to learn
Numerically inclined and analytical, with good computer skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing results of analyses and modelling
Excellent Spanish and English skills are essential (both written and spoken). Any additional European language skills would be advantageous
