Role Overview As a KYC Analyst Consumer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless onboarding experiences for our valued customers.
Collaborating closely with FinCrime, Compliance, and Operations, we ensure a comprehensive approach to risk mitigation and regulatory adherence without forgetting to ensure a great UX for our customers.
You will be part of the KYC Team and report to the KYC Team Lead.
Your mission: Perform due diligence.
Ensure appropriate client documentation is captured and provide timely onboarding for new consumer customers.
Analyze and assess profiles.
Verify identities, identify potential red flags, and escalate particular cases to the FinCrime team.
Assist customers.
Provide assistance primarily via email during the verification and activation process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
Conduct quality checks.
Perform quality checks on a sample basis for customers approved through automated systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Utilize screening databases.
Screen customers using PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) databases and adverse media sources to identify potential risks.
Perform risk assessments.
Conduct detailed customer risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks associated with clients.
Your ideal profile: Relevant experience.
You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in a startup or the financial sector; customer care experience is also valued.
Legal framework knowledge.
You have a clear understanding of AML/KYC legal frameworks, with AML/AFC qualification from ACAMS, ICA, or similar industry body considered a plus.
Language proficiency.
You have native proficiency in Italian and professional proficiency in English, with knowledge of French considered a plus.
