Senior Service Reliability Engineer Business Environment
Our mission as part of Amadeus Cloud Services is to support the expert technical team which are supporting Azure Public Cloud transformation and support the on-premise infrastructure using mainly Hyperconverged infrastructure solutions. The support is mainly for Amadeus internal R&D perimeter. You will have to know Amadeus High Level Design regarding cloud transformation and provide your vision and adaptation needed for your team. Your team will strongly focus on automation (Vmware VRA and Terraform/Github). Your team will also build and maintain a platform running on Vmware infrastructure.
You will be facilitators to support our internal customers to migrate their workloads to Public Cloud. Your team will be located in 3 regions: Europe, Americas, and India.
Your Main Responsibilities
Your mission will be to work on 2 different solutions: currently 50% on-premise and 50% Azure Cloud. This will evolve over the years with more Public Cloud.
Support Vmware infrastructure team.Cloud Automation team / DevOps.Common accountabilities: Manage a team of staff employees and have accountability for their performance and results. Set performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and recommend pay actions.Define a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translate it into a concrete action plan. Work with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.Act as a technical reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.Optimize efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures, and business plan.Specific accountabilities: Organize the team and help/support them ensure they can perform the best support on our migration to cloud.Continuous improvement of team-internal processes to design, implement, provide, validate, and automatically test, version and release integrated infrastructure automation and cloud integration solutions.Present solutions to management with fully documented and analyzed proposals.In case of incidents or problems, support the operational team to diagnose and recover from service disruptions, report comprehensive status to management.Participate in the evaluation of, install, support, and control relevant tools used to provide infrastructure automation and cloud integration solutions.Participate in the design of, implement and support cloud integration solutions based on and using relevant tools and self-developed automation components.Coordinate the end-to-end process to deploy such solutions.Coordinate the resolution of conflicting or diverging technical requests during release integration supporting internal team members as well as users and stakeholders external to the team.Communicate release plans and results to key users and stakeholders.
