Your Mission as a Mechanical SupervisorAs a Mechanical Supervisor, your primary mission will be to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of mechanical equipment at the Early Production Facilities (EPF). You will play a critical role in supporting the Asset Integrity team to maintain the plant's mechanical integrity and ensure that all safety, operational, and maintenance procedures are strictly followed. Your efforts will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of the operations, helping the hiring company achieve key performance indicators, such as uptime and HSE objectives, while maintaining high safety standards.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Mechanical SupervisorEnsure compliance with all procedures defined in the OPF PSAIM standard and related facility-specific procedures.Lead and improve PSAIM self-assessment processes, conducting two assessments per year.Enforce adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and maintain a clean and organized site.Oversee Safety, Quality (SQ), and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) incident reporting and the closure of remedial work plans.Conduct daily evening safety meetings with the crew to ensure the safety of all personnel at the location.Manage the roles and responsibilities of the mechanical team, ensuring they have the necessary competencies.Provide troubleshooting support for mechanical issues and coordinate with external experts as needed.Oversee weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and calibration activities, ensuring proper record-keeping.Ensure compliance with mechanical integrity inspections and Risk-Based Inspections (RBI).Maintain and update the CMMS / RBI database.Prepare thoroughly for scheduled facility shutdown maintenance activities.Order and maintain the minimum stock of mechanical spare parts, managing inventory efficiently.Collaborate with various teams, including Maintenance, Operations, and Local Procurement, to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Mechanical SupervisorExtensive years of mechanical experience, having good experience in a maintenance role.Proven experience in inspecting facilities, preparing maintenance schedules, and managing maintenance teams.Strong functional and technical knowledge in Production Facility operations with a high level of competency.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with managers, peers, and clients.Expertise in Permit to Work Management, Control Room Operations, and Emergency Response Management.Proficiency in PSAIM and OM activities in gas, oil, and water processing plants.OEM Mechanical Maintenance training as applicable for equipment.Additional InformationWorking Days Hours: Rotation (6x3)Location: Jalu - LibyaBenefits: Based on experience the offer has a competitive salary including housing support and extended benefits.
